Privacy and operator

This page says who runs this site and what happens to data when you visit it, download the program or write to us. Short version: no cookies, no trackers, nothing passed on to third parties.

Who is responsible

The site and the release server are run by Filip Zaborowski Ubezpieczenia (a sole proprietorship), Siemiatycka 1/73, 01-312 Warszawa, Poland, NIP 5223190460. E-mail: contact@tunnelry.com.

The same person is the controller of the personal data described here (GDPR).

What the web server records

Each time a page or a file is fetched (this includes downloads of the program and the update checks of an installation), the web server notes the time, the address of the requesting device (IP address), the file asked for, the result and the name of the browser or program.

This is used to run and secure the site, to find errors and to count how often the program is downloaded (only counts, no profiles of people). The legal basis is the legitimate interest in running and protecting the site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted automatically after about two weeks.

When you write to us

If you write to contact@tunnelry.com or to the security address, your e-mail address and what you write are used only to answer you and, if needed, to fix the problem you describe. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in answering (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages are kept as long as the conversation needs and then deleted, unless the law or a claim requires keeping them. The mailbox is run by an e-mail provider that processes it on our behalf.

No cookies, no trackers

This site sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising, social media buttons, external fonts or other content from third parties; everything comes from this site. Your choice of a light, dark or system theme is kept only in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to the server.

The program itself

Tunnelry sends no telemetry and has no analytics. The only connection it makes on its own is the one to the release server (updates.tunnelry.com) when you open the Updates page or ask it to look for a new version. The server then sees the address of your installation and the text "tunnelry-vpnctl", and treats this like any other log entry (see above).

Who receives data

Data is not sold or passed on to third parties. It is processed on servers run by the operator; only the e-mail provider mentioned above processes data on the operator’s behalf.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of processing, and you can object to processing that is based on a legitimate interest. Write to contact@tunnelry.com. You can also complain to the supervisory authority; in Poland it is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl).

Writing to us is voluntary. Visiting the site necessarily lets the web server see your IP address, otherwise it could not answer you.
